Animals in Winter

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Event Details

During the fall, animals are busy getting ready for the cold weather of winter. Some are gathering food, growing winter coats, and eating as much as they can for the long winter ahead. Birds and butterflies are migrating or flying to warmer places. Other animals are preparing to hibernate or sleep through the winter. We discover what our animals are doing to make it through the coldest season. Sponsored by the Mt. Pleasant Public Library and presented by The Nature of Things. For children ages 3-5. Registration is required and will begin on Sunday, January 26. Limit: 25
Event Type(s): Children
